Plant your own white sage with our White sage seeds. $7.99 per packet.     Buy Now How to grow Salvia apiana:  Surface sow and keep the seeds moist by covering the tray with plastic (you can put it in a plastic food bag, but check regularly).  Seeds should germinate in 2 weeks but can take up to 35 days, and only 35% of seeds typically germinate at a time.  If not, keep at 39F/4C for 2-4 weeks and then put back in 70F/21C.  Transplant to full sun and sandy, somewhat dry soil.  It's perennial in warmer areas where winters don't get much below freezing (zones 7-10) and can stand heat up to 110F/43C. In colder climates White sage can be grown as an annual.

 

Ceremonial Dakota sage  (JUST ARRIVED) Also known as Artemesia Ludoviciana, Male Dakota Sage, Black Sage, Badlands Sage, Grey Sage or Dakota White Sage. Dakota Sage is a much milder and mellower Dakota White Sage that was used by most tribes in the "Central Plains." It does not have the strong pungent scent of the "California White Sage," instead it burns with a mild sweet scent that many people prefer. 1/4 LB $6.50

Nicotiana tabacum, or Wild tobacco seeds Makes a nice tobacco plant for ceremonial offering tobacco as well. Approx 100 Seeds .  $7.99 Every part of the plant except the seed contains nicotine, but the concentration is related to different factors such as species, type of land, culture and weather conditions. The concentration of nicotine increases with the age of the plant. Tobacco leaves contain 2 to 8% nicotine combined as malate or citrate. The distribution of the nicotine in the mature plant is widely variable: 64% of the total nicotine exists in the leaves, 18% in the stem, 13% in the root, and 5% in the flowers.
